(Miami, FL) — Anthony Edwards led all scorers with 29 points but the Timberwolves couldn’t catch the Heat and instead lost 113-110. Naz Reid added 21 points and 10 rebounds and Jaden McDaniels had 16 points as the Wolves fell to 16-18 and have now dropped three straight. Tyler Herro had 14 points for the Heat including a long jumper with 33.2 seconds left to put Miami up by five points with 33.2 seconds left. Edwards made a runner on the next possession and got fouled but missed the free throw keeping Miami in front by three points. Minnesota had a chance with 2.5 seconds left in the game but never got a shot off and suffered the loss. Max Strus led the Heat in scoring with 19 points and Kyle Lowry had 18 points and nine assists to move their record to 17-17. The road trip continues on Wednesday night for the T-Wolves as they visit New Orleans for a 7 P-M tip.
