(Minneapolis, MN) — Minnesota stars Andrew Wiggins and Ricky Rubio each scored 18 points to lead the Timberwolves past the Phoenix Suns yesterday at the Target Center, 117-87. Minnesota outscored Phoenix by 16 in the fourth quarter to snap a nine-game losing streak. This was the first win of the 2016 calendar for Minnesota. Karl-Anthony Towns added 14 points and eight boards for the T-Wolves. Brandon Knight tallied a game-high 20 points for the Suns, who lost their fourth straight game and fell to 13-and-29 overall. The Wolves return to action tomorrow night at New Orleans.
