Wolves Stop Skid; Beat Raptors

(Tampa, FL)  —  Karl-Anthony Towns scored 20 points in a 116-112 victory over the Toronto Raptors as he helped the Timberwolves end their four game losing streak.  Towns scored seven of his 20 points in the fourth quarter but also got help from his teammates.

Malik Beasley also scored 20 including nailing six 3-point shots.  Rookie Anthony Edwards had 18 points while Ricky Rubio provided 16 points and five assists.  Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 24 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, helping the Raptors overcome a 12-point deficit.  The Wolves now embark on a three game home stand which begins Tuesday against the Lakers.
