(Minneapolis, MN) — Charlotte’s Jeremy Lin led three reserves in double-figures with 19 points as the Hornets held off the Timberwolves last night in Minnesota, 104-95. Jeremy Lamb added 18 points off the pine for Charlotte, which saw its bench outscore the starters 57-47. The Hornets improved to 3-and-4 with the win. Zach LaVine (luh-VEEN) had a career-high 20 points to pace Minnesota, which is 0-and-3 at home at 4-and-0 on the road. Karl-Anthony Towns (pictured) totaled 19 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in the loss. Andrew Wiggins and Ricky Rubio each did not play due to knee soreness. Apple Valley native Tyus Jones made his N-B-A debut and scored a free throw. Minnesota host Golden State tomorrow night.
