The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has suspended center Rudy Gobert for one game following yesterday’s incident. Gobert will serve his team suspension during tomorrow’s game at Los Angeles Lakers.

The Wolves also announced the following injury update on forward Jaden McDaniels, who suffered a right hand injury during yesterday’s game vs. New Orleans Pelicans. X-rays and further imaging taken today at Mayo Clinic Square by Dr. Kelechi Okoroha on McDaniels revealed fractures of his third and fourth metacarpals. He has been placed in a cast and will be out indefinitely. Further updates to his progress will be provided when available.  In 79 games (all starts) this season, McDaniels averaged career highs with 12.1 points on 59.1% shooting and 1.9 assists, along with 3.9 rebounds per game.
