Player Notes
• Naz Reid led the way for the Timberwolves tonight with a season-high 33 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including a season-high 6-of-10 from three and seven rebounds, marking his first 30+ game of the season (fifth career). Reid’s 33 points mark his second career 30+ point game off the bench and are the most points off the bench by a Wolves player since his 34-point effort (March 8, 2024 at Cleveland). He becomes the first player in franchise history to record multiple 30+ point games off the bench.
• In knocking down six threes in tonight’s game, Reid has now hit 81 three-pointers off the bench this season, the most made-threes by a bench player in the NBA this season. Tonight marked Reid’s fourth career game with 6+ made threes off the bench, joining Malik Beasley (six games) as the only two players in franchise history to tally 4+ games with 6+ made threes off the bench.
• Julius Randle finished with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting, five rebounds, a game-high and season-high 14 assists and no turnovers, marking his second consecutive game with 10+ assists, the first time in his career having back-to-back games with 10+ assists. Tonight also marked his fourth 15+ point/5+ rebound/10+ assist game the season (17th career).
• Randle’s 14 assists are the most in franchise history by a frontcourt player and he is the first Wolves player to record 10+ assists in back-to-back games since Mike Conley did so on Jan. 9 and 12, 2024. Randle is the only Power Forward or Center to record 10+ assists in back-to-back games in franchise history.
• Randle is the first player in the NBA this season to have 14+ assists and no turnovers. He becomes the fourth player in franchise history to do so and the first since Stephon Marbury on Dec. 17, 1997 (14 assists and no turnovers).
• Anthony Edwards added 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting and four assists, marking his 20th 20+ point game of the season (275th career). Tonight also marked Edwards’ third 20+ point game of the season on 60.0%+ shooting from the field (29th career).
