(Memphis, TN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves jumped out to a 17-point first quarter lead and held on for a 114-108 win over the Grizzlies last night in Memphis. Zach LaVine (luh-VEEN) led all five Minnesota starters in double figures with 28 points. Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota, which moved to 2-and-1 on its four-game road trip. Ricky Rubio recorded his fifth double-double in the past five games with 15 points and 11 assists. Apple Valley native Tyus Jones came off the bench to record ten points and five assists. Lance Stephenson racked up 24 points, 11 boards and seven assists off the bench for the Grizzlies, who have lost three in-a-row for the first time since November. Minnesota is at Houston tomorrow night.
