A 16-month-old boy is recovering after a hanging attempt by a woman at a home daycare in south Minneapolis this morning. Kris Arneson with the Minneapolis Police Department says the suspect then fled in her minivan and struck a pedestrian and a bicyclist, and later threatened to jump from a freeway overpass. She was eventually taken into custody. The pedestrian suffered broken bones, but is expected to survive. The bicyclist’s condition is unknown at this time. None of the victims’ names have been released.
