(Minneapolis, MN) — The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team enters its fourth week of summer workouts, where coaches can be with the team for a limited amount of time. The Golden Gophers are coming off of a 9-22 season last year and guard Braeden Carrington says the team can “win a lot more games this year” because they will have another year of experience and have added some valuable newcomers. Carrington says the added depth will be important so they can play a faster paced game, which fits the style of play that will allow this roster to win more games. Carrington suffered a couple of different injuries during his freshman season last year and says he is feeling great and hopes to not miss any time for the 2023-24 campaign. Carrington was Mr. Basketball in Minnesota in 2022 from Brooklyn Park.
