The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team will play 20 Big Ten regular-season conference games during the 2024-25 season, the league office announced today. The Golden Gophers will face three opponents twice next year, with another 14 games in a home or road contest.

Dates, times and broadcast information will follow at a later date. The Big Ten also welcomes the addition of Oregon, Southern Cal, UCLA and Washington to the 2024-25 conference slate, marking an 18-team schedule format.

Minnesota will play the following three schools at home and on the road next season: Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

The Golden Gophers also welcome the following teams to Williams Arena next year: Illinois, Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon, Ohio State, Purdue and Washington.

In addition to MSU, PSU and Wisconsin, the Gophers will also travel to these locations during the 2024-25 campaign: Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska, Rutgers, UCLA and USC.

The 2025 Big Ten Championship location and format will also be announced later this year.
