(Minneapolis, MN) — The Golden Gopher men’s basketball team continues to conduct summer workouts on campus, working mostly in small group settings with a limited allowable time to spend with coaches. Gopher senior Parker Fox of Mahtomedi has missed each of the past two seasons after suffering knee injuries in the summer workout period. He is back to working out again and says he hopes to be a factor on the court this coming season for Minnesota. He says he is embracing the grind of working back from injury for a second straight off-season and going against some quality big men in these workouts has helped him gain confidence in his health. Fox says the newcomers on the team have all arrived to campus and are fitting in well so far. He says one of his big goals for the rest of the summer is to help foster an environment that will create team chemistry.
