The University of Minnesota soccer team will face the No. 6 Michigan State Spartans in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament.
Minnesota picks up the eight-seed and will travel to East Lansing to compete against the 2022 Big Ten Champions and one-seeded Spartans. Match time is set for 3 P.M. on Sunday, Oct. 30 and will be televised live on Big Ten Network.
The Maroon & Gold’s Big Ten Tournament berth is the first since the 2018 season, when the Golden Gophers defeated No. 15 Penn State in penalties to win their third Big Ten Tournament Championship Title.
