(Toronto, ONT) — Dennis Schroder scored 22 points and O.G. Anunoby added 20 as the Raptors beat the Timberwolves 97-94 on Wednesday in the season opener. Anthony Edwards had 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Timberwolves but the T-Wolves fell short for the 19th straight loss to the Raptors in Tornoto. Rudy Gobert had 15 points and 13 rebounds and Karl Anthony Towns finished with 19 points and 10 boards. The loss gives the Wolves a 0-1 record to start the regular season after a perfect 5-0 run through the exhibition schedule. The Timberwolves open up Target Center on Saturday night when they host the Miami Heat at 7 P-M.
