(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves took advantage of a shorthanded Mavericks team and ripped them 121-87. Karl Anthony Towns had 29 points and nine rebounds as the Mavs played without their stars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Rudy Gobert had 17 points as the T-Wolves improved to 34-14. Josh Green had 18 points for Dallas as Doncic missed with a sprained right ankle and Irving sat with a sprained right thumb. Minnesota has won two straight and eight of the last 11. They’ll host Orlando on Friday at 7 P-M and Houston on Sunday at 6 P-M both at Target Center.
