(Arlington, TX)  —  Adolis Garcia homered in the bottom of the ninth inning to help the Rangers beat the Twins 6-5 on Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Texas.  It was Garcia’s 100th R-B-I of the season and it came on his 34th home run – a 430 foot shot into the second deck in left field.  Former Twins catcher Mitch Garver homered twice in game that Minnesota never held the lead.  Royce Lewis also had a pair of home runs including a three run shot in the fifth inning.  Despite the loss the Twins still won two of three in Arlington and still lead the Guardians by five games in the race for the A-L Central division title.  The Twins are in Cleveland for three straight starting tonight.  Here are the pitching probables:

Monday, Sept 4 – Pablo Lopez vs Lucas Giolito, 5:10 P-M @ Progressive Field

Tuesday, Sept 5 – Sonny Gray vs Tanner Bibee, 5:10 P-M @ Progressive Field
