Due to the forecast of inclement weather throughout the day, today’s game between the Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park has been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Saturday with the first game starting at 12:10 p.m. and the second game starting approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.
The only tickets valid for Saturday’s straight doubleheader will be those for Saturday’s originally scheduled 12:10 p.m. game. Fans with paid tickets for today’s postponed game may exchange their tickets for Saturday’s doubleheader or for any future regular season game of similar value in the next 12 months, excluding Opening Day 2025. Friday night’s 5:40 p.m. game against the Twins will be the first Party in the Park, presented by Casamigos Tequila, of the 2024 season. Starting when gates open until first pitch, fans can enjoy signature drink specials on the Comerica Landing, live music, photo opportunities, and other fun activities throughout the ballpark. Due to a forecast of high winds and out of abundance of caution, Friday’s post-game fireworks show has been canceled. Visit tigers.com for future fireworks shows at Comerica Park.
For Saturday’s straight doubleheader, the first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a Tigers Beanie presented by Bally Sports Detroit. Sunday’s series finale at 12:40 p.m. is Chevy Sunday Kids Day. Young fans (14 and under) can get player autographs on the concourse and enjoy free rides on the Ferris Wheel and Hi-Chew Carousel. After the game, children are invited to the field for “Kids Run the Bases” sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
