(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Carlos Correa got his first hit of the night in extra time as the Twins beat the Mariners 4-3 in 10 innings.  Correa was 0-for-4 before he came up in the bottom of the 10th and then hit home Donovan Solano with a single to right. Twins Radio had the call last night courtesy of Corey Provus:

 

 

That’s back to back walk off wins for the Twins who have won nine of eleven games since the All Star Break.  Starter Kenta Maeda went 6 1/3 innings in the win giving up one run on six hits and eight strikeouts.  Jorge Lopez took the win to improve to 4-2 on the season.  Game two of the series is tonight at 6:40 P-M from Target Field.
