University of Minnesota standouts Tyler Nubin and Brevyn Spann-Ford were invited to compete in the upcoming Senior Bowl, which will be played on Feb. 3, 2024, in Mobile, Ala.
Nubin, who was recently named All-Big Ten First Team, made 53 tackles this year and had five interceptions and four pass breakups. He has played in 55 career games and has made 207 tackles. His 13 career interceptions are also a program record.
Spann-Ford, who was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection, made 25 catches this year for 239 yards and two touchdowns. In his career, he has played in 60 games and has 95 receptions for 1,061 yards and seven touchdowns.
This is the fifth straight year that Minnesota has had a Senior Bowl invite and Nubin and Spann-Ford are the 48th and 49th Gophers to be invited to the annual competition, which was first played in 1950.
