>>Vikings Readying For Second Preseason Matchup

(Eagan, MN)  —  The Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans are plowing forward to their preseason match up tomorrow night at U.S. Bank Stadium with a 7 P-M kickoff.  This week, the two teams participated in joint practices including yesterday afternoon at T-C-O Performance Center.  The Vikings dropped their preseason opener last week in Seattle 24-13.  The Titans are also 0-1 after falling to the Bears 23-17 in Chicago.  In all the Vikings will participate in three preseason games including a match up against the Cardinals next Saturday in Minneapolis.  The Vikings open the 2023 regular season against the Bucs on September 10th at U.S. Bank Stadium.

While the Vikings are relatively healthy, Titans are dealing with another injury at practice.  Quarterback Will Levis left Thursday’s joint session with the Vikings with a lower-body injury.  Head coach Mike Vrabel said the rookie Q-B was taken off the field before practice ended with two-minute drills.  Levis was selected in the second round of April’s N-F-L Draft and is uncertain to play in Tennessee’s preseason matchup against the Vikings Saturday night.  The injury comes one day after wide receiver Treylon Burks suffered a sprained L-C-L.  Burks is expected to miss a few weeks.
