(Chicago, IL) — Wild rookie goaltender Jesper Wallstedt put up a shutout in his second N-H-L start as the Wild blanked the Blackhawks 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at the United Center. Wallstedt, the 20th overall pick by the Wild in 2021, was shelled in his debut on January 10th when he gave up seven goals on 27 saves in Dallas. Sunday, he got the win and became the youngest goaltender to log a shutout in Wild history. He was helped by Kirill Kaprizov, who netted his 40th and 41st of the season plus Minnesota got goals from Marco Rossi and Freddy Gaudreau. The Wild have beaten the Blackhawks 12 straight times. The road trip continues for Minnesota on Tuesday when they face the Avalanche in Denver at 8:30 P-M.
