Tomorrow is Gun Violence Awareness Day and you’re being encouraged to “Wear Orange”. Marit Brock with Mom’s Demand Action Minnesota says the color orange is used because it’s the color that hunters wear to designate that “I am human, don’t shoot me”. Brock says the campaign was inspired by a group of Chicago teens who lost their young friend to gun violence in 2015. “Wear Orange” rallies will be held in Rochester tomorrow morning and in St. Paul Saturday night.
