(Nashville, TN)  —  The Wild will need to rebound from a close loss on Tuesday to the Hurricanes because the rest of this week they’re up against direct competition for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.  The Wild fell to Carolina 3-2 on Tuesday night but are still 7-2-1 in their last 10 games overall.  They’ll enter tonight still six points back of the Predators and the final playoff spot in large part because the Preds won’t lose.  They’ve won six straight to build their record to 33-25-2 on the season.  The two Central Division rivals have already met twice this season and split the first two games.  The Wild won 6-1 at Nashville on November 30th but the Predators got the rematch 3-2 last month in St. Paul.  The two will face off two more times this season including tonight at Bridgestone Arena.  Puck drops at 7 P-M.
