(St. Paul, MN)  —  The Wild are enjoying three straight days off for the Christmas holiday as mandates by the National Hockey League and the N-H-L Players Association.  The N-H-L takes a break to celebrate the holiday from December 24th through the 26th and they not only can’t play games but they also can’t conduct practices.  So the Wild will get back on the ice for the first time on Wednesday morning as they get ready for the Red Wings at Xcel Energy Center later that night.  Minnesota went into the pause on a high with a 3-2 win over the Bruins.  The Wild and Wings met last month in Detroit with the Wild losing 4-1 on a pair of David Perron goals.  The rematch is at 7 P-M tonight from Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild are 10-3 under new head coach John Hynes
