(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild are in the middle of a four day break as they wait for the resumption of their schedule. The Wild fell in overtime to the Blues on Saturday night and now have been idle with no games on the schedule until Thursday when they host the San Jose Sharks. Minnesota is in a precarious position in that they are still outside the playoff picture and not only trail the Golden Knights but are also behind the Blues. That means they have to clear two teams to jump into the top eight with just 11 games left on the schedule. Good news however on the injury front shows both Joel Eriksson Ek and Jonas Brodin practiced with the team on Tuesday at TRIA Rink and both are possible for Thursday’s 7 P-M puck drop against the Sharks at Xcel Energy Center.
