Wild Start Homestand Tonight ((AUDIO))

December 11, 2022 By kevin.falness@mnnradio.com

(St. Paul, MN)  —  The Wild are home for four straight starting tonight when they host the Edmonton Oilers.  It will be the third meeting in 11 days between the two clubs with split results in the first two matchups.  On December 1st in St. Paul the Wild won 5-3 but in the rematch last week in Edmonton the Oilers got the victory by a 5-2 final.  The loss in Edmonton was part of a four game road trip where the Wild lost in Edmonton and Calgary but get wins out of Dallas and Vancouver.  Saturday the Wild finished the trip with a 3-0 win over the Canucks.  In that one Filip Gustavsson made 35 saves for his first career shutout and also featured the N-H-L debut of former Gopher captain Sammy Walker.  The Wild and Oilers face off tonight at 7 P-M from Xcel Energy Center.
