(Detroit, MN) — Kody Clemens 25th home run of the season was the go ahead tally as the Twins edged the Tigers 5-4 on Tuesday night in Detroit. The Twins were down 2-1 heading to the sixth when Clemens two run shot put Minnesota up for good as they were able to hang on for the victory and tie the series at a game a piece. Dean Kremer got the start and gave up two runs on five hits while striking out three. He got the win and improved to 3-5 on the season. Meanwhile, Yoendrys Gomez pitches a perfect ninth inning to lock down his 22nd save. Despite the win, the Twins have still lost four of their last six and are still seven games under .500 at 69-76.
