(Minneapolis, MN) — The University of Minnesota football team hosts Mississippi State this afternoon at Huntington Bank Stadium. This is the first time since 1959 that a team from the S-E-C is visiting Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers beat Vanderbilt 20-6 in that matchup. The visiting Bulldogs are 1-0 after last weekend’s 62-13 win over Louisiana-Monroe. M-S-U put up a school record 762 yards of total offense. Minnesota is 1-0 following a 50-7 victory over Eastern Illinois a week ago on Thursday. Today’s game kicks off at 2:38 P-M.
