The WNBA announced that Lynx guard Olivia Miles has been named the Kia WNBA Rookie of the Month for July. The monthly honor is her third consecutive award, making her the first rookie in franchise history to earn the honor three times.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft is currently averaging 19.7 points on 50.2% shooting from the floor and 38.0% shooting from deep, along with 5.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, leading all rookies in scoring, assists and efficiency (21.7). She also ranks sixth in the WNBA in efficiency and eighth in both scoring and assists. Miles helped Minnesota to a league-best 9-2 record in July as the Lynx closed out the month on a nine-game winning streak. She recorded four 20-point games and two 30-point performances during the month, posting the most games in WNBA history by a rookie with 20 or more points while shooting 50/40/90 shooting splits.

The Phillipsburg, N.J., native averaged 20.8 points on 44.9% shooting from the floor and 44.7% shooting from three, along with 6.0 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game throughout July. On July 13 against the Phoenix Mercury, Miles scored a career-high 33 points while adding eight assists and three rebounds in the 104-100 victory, recording the highest-scoring game by a Lynx rookie in franchise history. On July 22, the guard also became the fastest player in WNBA history to total 500 points and 150 assists.

The Lynx will begin a three-game homestand on Thursday, Aug. 6, against the Los Angeles Sparks at 8:00 p.m. CT. The game will air on Prime Video.

Highlights from Miles’ month include:
•July 13 vs. Phoenix: Set a new career-high 33 points on 10-of-16 (62.5%) shooting from the floor and 5-of-8 (62.5%) shooting from three, along with eight assists and three rebounds. Miles recorded the highest-scoring game by a rookie in franchise history, while she and teammate Kayla McBride became the first Lynx duo to each score 30 or more points in the same game in the 104-100 win over the Mercury.

•July 18 vs. Portland: Recorded a 14-point, 10-assist double-double on 2-of-3 (66.7%) shooting from deep, while adding four rebounds and a career-high four blocks. Miles became the first rookie and fifth player in WNBA history to post the stat line in the 101-93 win over the Fire.

•July 20 at Seattle: Totaled 32 points on 13-of-24 (54.2%) shooting from the field, along with eight rebounds, eight assists and a steal in the 105-102 win over the Storm.
