(Eagan, MN) — Over the weekend it became official: Harrison Smith is returning for one more season with the Minnesota Vikings. The safety signed a one year deal on Saturday to return for his 15th season with the Purple after being drafted 29th overall by the Vikings in 2012. The 37 year old vet has played 207 games and started 203 of them, all with Minnesota, and is the active N-F-L leader in interceptions with 39.
