The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have activated right-handed pitcher Dean Kremer and optioned right-handed pitcher Jack Anderson to Triple-A St. Paul.
Anderson appeared in four games for the Twins, going 1-0 with 4.1 scoreless innings, one save, two hits allowed, one walk and six strikeouts.
Kremer, who was acquired in a trade from the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, has gone 1-4 with a 6.50 ERA (36.0 IP, 26 ER), 11 walks, 38 strikeouts and a 1.36 WHIP in seven starts for the Orioles this season. The Stockton, California native was originally selected by Los Angeles-NL in the 14th round of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has gone 42-44 with a 4.37 ERA (707.2 IP, 344 ER), 233 walks, 616 strikeouts and a 1.29 WHIP rate in 133 career major league games (130 starts), all with Baltimore.
